I’m Amy, the founder of Urban Chic, with more than 20 years of hairdressing experience under my belt and is now honoured to be a part of the Wella Professional Creative Artist Team.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the globe and be involved in numerous fashion weeks, working with amazing stylists and designers. This allows me to bring all that I have learnt back to the salon to share with my girls.

Phoebe Shillington – Stylist
Phoebe is our stylist and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of colouring and long hair work in the salon.

Carla – Senior Stylist
Carla is our senior stylist that comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
“ I believe it’s important to deliver a service to my clients that they’ll remember long after their visit, whether it’s a beautiful new look, a refresh of a current style or even just helping with tips on styling and caring for your hair at home, I simply love all aspects of my job however my passion does lie with colour, there’s nothing more satisfying than creating a beautiful blonde or balayage. I also love to create short hair styles that are modern and wearable day to day.”
Yianni – Senior Stylist
Jaydee – Stylist
Jaydee is Our newly qualified stylist, full of excitement and inspiration.
“I am passionate about all things hair, I particularly like cutting short, curly and men’s hair. I do love to get creative with colour creating soft tones to enhance natural beauty and contouring. Finishing with the ultimate bouncy blow dry to create soft shapes and flowing form for any occasion.
Education and knowledge is ongoing and something I will always continue to pride myself on in order to grow and expand my skill set to deliver more to my clients”
Lucy Hodgen-Rover – 1st Year Apprentice
Lucy is our first year apprentice who has a keen eye for picking up skills quickly and does a mean head massage.
“I love hairdressing because my days are always different in the salon. I enjoy meeting new people and enhancing their experience. My favourite thing to do is braiding and upstyling.”
